Individual consultations are available at Kathleen's clinics in Ivanhoe and Seaford.
In-home consultations are another option for families who are experiencing stressful mealtimes, fussy/selective eating or have concerns about their child's growth/weight.
In-home consultations usually take around one hour. It can be useful to see your child eating during the consultation, but this isn't always necessary. The number of in-home consultations needed varies between families and depends on the degree of complexity of the mealtime issues.

Kathleen also offers phone consultations - these are more suited to general nutrition advice or for follow up appointments where an in-home or clinic appointment may not be necessary.

Private Health Fund Rebates
Kathleen is a registered provider with all major health funds, which means you may be able to claim a rebate through your health fund depending on your level of extras cover. Rebates vary so contacting your private health provider before making an appointment is recommended.
Registered Medicare Provider
Medicare rebates are available for adults and children who have a chronic condition and are being managed under a care plan and team care arrangement through their GP. You can ask your GP if you or your child qualify for this program. Ensure you have this referral at your initial consultation. Kathleen will report assessment results and education provided to your General Practitioner as part of this team care approach.
Registered NDIS provider
Kathleen is a registered NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) provider.
Payment can be made by cash, credit card (VISA/Mastercard) or EFTPOS.
Payment is to be made on the day of your consultation.
Please note that minimum of 24 hours notice is required for any cancellations. This allows an opportunity for others to have your appointment time and to cover costs incurred by Healthy Start Nutrition as a result of your failure to attend. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
If you fail to attend your appointment without providing any notice, the full fee for your appointment will be charged.
